Golden Beach Cottages - Trincomalee

The room was super close to the beach! Stepping out to the golden sands was a dream. The only downside was the noise from the nearby restaurant, which could get a bit loud. 🌊

The stay here was wonderful for four nights. The location was great and fab as for me. I checked out Sky Zone Trampoline Park Amusement Center, that was set within walking distance of the property. Beautiful rooms, outstanding views of the beach, the staff was really kind.

The breakfast was excellent, with a huge variety of meals. Greatly enjoyed the standard double room I had with a seaview as well as a beautiful view.

I loved starting my mornings watching the sunrise from my terrace. The beach was mere steps away, providingvery comfy and tidy sun loungers right on the soft sand. The staff prepared breakfast for us at any time, even making a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast one morning that I will never forget!

Had really good stay for four nights in the Golden Beach Cottages, the staff were so very friendly, location was fab by the restaurant on the premises. The breakfast was sensational and we greatly enjoyed the restaurant. Our family room came with with a front terrace, a seaview, as example.

The location is perfect for beach access.

My experience was marred by the outdated bathroom facilities. I faced disturbances from noisy guests in the nearby rooms and persistent issues with cleanliness. I expected better maintenance given the cost, but overall, it was disappointing.

The location was perfect, just steps from the sandy beach, and the staff were super accommodating. I loved dining with my feet in the sand while enjoying tasty food and drinks.

the air conditioner wasn't effective enough.

We enjoyed dolphin watching and the nearby beach was perfect for relaxation. The cozy rooms provided splendid views, and the staff was attentive and cute. It was a delight for our family with two teens, especially the delicious breakfast options.

My kids wished for more activities available for teenagers.

Golden beach cottages is right on the sandy beach, where you can enjoy a nice restaurant with your feet in the sand. Our host yoga was very attentive and helped us with every request smoothly. Thesuper clean and cozy rooms was really good.

The beachfront location offers a great atmosphere, ideal for enjoying food and drinks right by the sand. I dealt with some significant issues, such as a delayed reception that rushed my morning checkout, and unexpected charges added . My room showed signs of poor maintenance, and I had to address the leaking sink in the bathroom multiple times. Despite this, the staff was responsive when I mentioned the loud restaurant music across from my room, which they promptly fixed.

The upgraded room with a front terrace and sea view was incredibly comfortable and bright, with added amenities such as coffee, tea making machines, and a refrigerator available for use.
